Oops

I forgot about my blog! Too much to do with moving into our new house. We are all in now, but still have everything everywhere. Its hard to find stuff, but our master bedroom is all set up, now we just have the rest of the house to do! Its nice not to have TV though, because we are forced to work on the house instead :) hopefully we can go on another walk tonight, the weather is finally beautiful and not too hot. well, i hope to start up with this blog again, keep checking back!

Apprasials

The apprasial went fine-only $1000 over the selling price. Still waiting on the sellers response to the items we asked themto fix from the inspection.... Hopefully everything will be great, and we can continue working on packing, but still keeping the house nice for showings-blah! Oh well, the people who are looking at it this afternoon will get to smell dinner-beef brisket in the crockpot...YUM!!!

Showings

Wow-it sure is annoying to show your house when you are still living in it! Its not even our house, but I sure don't want people seeing dirty clothes laying around. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to pack some things, so our house has less stuff in it, therefore less to clean before showings. At least Toby is quiet while people are there, or so I hear. Poor baby is probably so scared when all these random people come into our house but don't let him out of his crate. Oh well, only a few more weeks!!!!

airplane travel

I just read an interesting paragraph in "Publish & Prosper Blogging for Your Business" by Byron and Broback (2006):

"It's not unlike commercial jet travel. Strapping yourself into an aluminum tube and then letting the ignition of flammable gases propel you six miles up into the air could also sound a bit risky to the uninitiated. Loan App.

Well, we've now completed the loan application process. Lots of signatures-only a primer to what we should see in a few weeks! Everything on our end is mostly done until the week before closing, just finish inspection negotiations, then check out the apprasial, and packing! Then there is the issue of paint colors...... :)

Trying Out Blogging

Well, hopefully Toby has something interesting to say :) He's very excited to get his new house, unfortunately he doesn't know it yet. A fenced yard he can run in, a huge house to sniff, he'll have a blast!
