Causing trouble

Addy's main view of her favorite big brother.

Yesterday was a pretty normal day. Addy and I went to Walmart and Sam's Club (for formula and diapers-what else!) and then came home. We attempted to go to the neighborhood ice cream social, but as soon as we got the stroller set up, it started pouring down rain, so we didn't go. Instead, we went to Oberweis to have ice cream for dinner instead-it was a delicious anniversary dinner. Then we came home and got the baby put to bed. After about an hour, she started crying, which is very unusual for her. I went to check on her, and she had rolled herself over into the corner of her crib. I think when I rolled her back over, it really scared her, because she had been a little quieter, but then started screaming. It took her about 10 min in daddy's arms to calm down and we were able to put her back to bed. About half an hour later, I went to check on her, and again, she was upside down but this time was asleep. I very carefully rolled her over, but since she was out, she didn't move once I got her situated. I checked on her again in the middle of the night, and she was right where she originally was, so we all had a restful night after all.

Today was group nap morning :) Then Addy and I ran some errands and went to the mall for a nice walk. It would be a perfect place for a walk, if the market research people weren't trying to attack you when you walked through their section! Then we made a delicious dinner for daddy and had a bath before Addy went to bed. Hopefully she sleeps well tonight.

Talking to Addy has become very difficult-if she is in a talkative mood, it's very hard to get a word in. She steals the show! She loves petting Toby, though I'm not sure if she is trying to pet him, grab at him, or he's just the closest thing to her all the time. She also has a new favorite toy, pictured above, her bear she got from a friend of mine from work. It's silky, makes noise, is similar to a burp rag (another favorite toy of hers), and can be put in her mouth. Hopefully we don't forget to bring it on our road trip!
